LETTER ABOUT Elise

If I were asked to describe myself, I would say that I am a fun-loving and caring person who loves having real conversations and helping people feel welcome. I am a cancer survivor, which shows that I am a very strong person. I also always try to maintain a very positive and upbeat attitude. 

I have always had a passion for working with children. Since becoming a mom, I have stayed home full time, but I previously worked as a school counselor. I loved being able to meet the kids in the midst of their crises and help them process through their emotions, learn how to cope with the tough situations in life, and enjoy the highlights of life. I can now use my skills as a school counselor to help me at home as we are raising Levi and our future children. 

In my free time, I love hanging out with friends and getting into deep conversations, going on walks, caring for my flowers, and trying new recipes. With Levi and our future children, I can’t wait to spend more time snuggling and watching movies, putting bandaids on their ouchies, teaching them kindness and respect, spending time talking about their days, and reading countless stories with them. As they get older I look forward to helping them with their homework, attending any extra-curricular activities, and helping them embrace and follow their dreams! I am so excited to add to our family and to watch them learn and grow!
