Closing Thoughts

As you finish reading our profile, we would like to take just a minute to say how thankful we are for this moment to connect with you and that you are considering adoption. And while we cannot fathom the difficulty of the decisions you are making, please know that we are praying for you as you go through this journey. Our path to this point has had its own moments of sadness and pain as we have gone through the loss of a child through miscarriage in the past. And while it is certainly not the same as the hard choices you are making, we know what it is like to have to face stressful and even scary times in life. Just as we will not ever be able to fully explain how much love we have for a child we never had the chance to meet in this life, we know we will never understand your emotions as you make the choices ahead of you. We are so excited and ready to welcome another child into our family and provide them with a loving home full of joy, grace, truth, and as many fun, treasured memories as possible. If you choose us as adoptive parents, your child will grow up in a home knowing of your loving and heroic choice for them. We would also love to be able to share some pictures and updates at points along the way if that is something you would like.  Thank you again so much for considering us. We truly hope your days are filled with a sense of peace as you go through this process.
