OUR FAMILY

Our families have always been an important part of who we are. We have both been blessed with incredibly loving parents as well as siblings, aunts, uncles, cousins, and grandparents that we have been close to throughout our lives.

Every year, holidays and birthdays are occasions for getting our whole family together. There are Easter parties, Thanksgiving dinners, and weekends at the lake. The grandparents frequently join us for vacations to the beach or a cabin in the mountains. In the summer, Allison’s older brother Justin and his family visit from Vietnam, and Nick has great fun playing with his cousins. Throughout the year, Nick loves to have his grandparents over to visit, and they love coming to see him. With Allison’s Mom just down the road and Dan’s parents, only a short drive away in Ohio, visits back and forth are frequent. Dan’s younger brother Joey often joins us as well and is a very good uncle to Nick.

All of our family members have been incredibly supportive throughout our adoption journey, and everyone in each of our families is very eager to welcome the next new addition!
