Hi there! We’re Brian and Alexis – and Ford (5)  and Etta (3). We’re a lighthearted, active, loving family who has always prayed to add to our family through adoption. We’ve been together for 14 years and happily married for 8.

We met in college, working at our student newspaper together. We became fast friends—it was so effortless to be together. Eventually we fell in love, dated long-distance for 3 years, moved, adopted a pug, got engaged, got married, bought a house, had two beautiful kids.

We’ve had adoption on our hearts for over a decade. Alexis grew up with many important people in her life being adopted — friends, neighbors, classmates. After we began dating – even before we were married – we both knew it would be an incredible gift to grow our family in this way.
