Hobbies and Interests

We are a big sports family (Go Bills!); living in Buffalo, NY, you almost have to be. We enjoy going to sporting events, whether it’s to support C.J. in the many sports he plays or going to a game to support our local teams. Most weekday evenings are spent playing a family game, whether it be a board game, Nintendo Mario Party, Mario Kart or something outside. Some nights we even watch movies together. If the weather is nice, it’s great to put down the technology and spend time together outdoors. We also love to hang out with extended family.

Being in the field of education provides us the opportunity to have school off when the children have breaks. We like to take weekend trips and stay in a hotel that must have a pool because we LOVE to be in the water. We try to spend free time doing creative things such as making things with our hands. Most recently, Katie and CJ were working on wood-burning signs for the family. Desere really enjoys learning and is constantly reading educational articles and books. One of Katies’ guilty pleasures is binge-watching tv. We all love to spend time together and watch movies from the 80s and 90s.
