Hobbies and Traditions

We love spending time together! Whether it is going to visit friends and family or staying home for our traditional Friday night pizza and “Diners, Drive-ins and Dives,” binge watch, we just love being together. Every Sunday morning, we attend mass before enjoying breakfast at our favorite local spot. We then try to avoid cell phones for the rest of the day, spending good family time together. 

We have made our own traditions throughout the years. One of our favorites is spending Thanksgiving at Jeff’s family ranch in Arkansas where we prepare all the food and host the holiday for his entire family (and a few close friends too). It is a lot of work, but definitely worth it. We spend one day finding the perfect Christmas tree, cutting it down and decorating it while watching football, cooking, and enjoying the fireplace. 

We also love being silly together too. Last Halloween, Jenny found a plastic glittery spider that fell off a wreath. She found a special place to hide it and scare Jeff. He said not a word and then found a special place to hide it for Jenny. We did this every day for the entire month of October. The best hiding spot was in the refrigerator, hung by clear fishing string so it would fall as the door opened. Jeff really got Jenny with that one!
