Our family loves being outdoors. Markie has grown up riding horses, so outside of family time, she enjoys riding or teaching lessons. Paul is an avid runner and likes to get up early to go for long runs.
We are an active family and we like to make the most of our family time! A typical summer weekend may include: hiking at the local state park, playing in the creek, having a family picnic, visiting the orchard, spending the day at the pool, or loading up and heading to the drive-on beach. We love music, so we have been known to have random after dinner dance parties!
During the cooler months, we enjoy the children’s museum, aquarium, indoor craft days, playdates with friends and lazy movie days. Of course, if it snows we love to pull the boys around on a sled.
We strive to raise compassionate children who love others well. We attend church on Sundays, and the boys enjoy being a part of the children’s program. We see the importance of a church community and as we all know, it takes a village to raise children. We are truly blessed to have such an involved and loving church family. We are also fortunate to have a few close friends that have also adopted, which will provide a great community and resource for your child.
