Meet Katie
Katie grew up in a small lake town in Michigan as the youngest of three siblings. Her parents, in addition to being loving and generous, emphasized family, fun, education, and enjoying life to the fullest! Her brother and sister were not just siblings, they grew up best friends, which remains the case today.
In addition to her siblings, her family-centered upbringing involved growing up next door to her grandparents and close to her aunts/uncles and cousins. They spent summers on the lake, traveled with one another, and spent holidays together. To this day, the family bonds remain strong between Katie’s immediate family and ever-growing extended family.
Katie’s upbringing shaped her personality into someone who is positive, humble, appreciative, caring and HAPPY. These traits have allowed her to be successful in her career as an occupational therapist and now in her most important role as a mom. With a flexible, part-time work schedule Katie feels blessed to be able to prioritize her role as a mother. It’s a joy to watch Katie interact with Juliet and I look forward to witnessing the same unconditional love with a future child.
