Our Family

Family is very important to both of us. We are very close to our parents, our siblings, aunts, uncles, and cousins. 

Mark has a twin brother, who is only minutes older than him. He also has a younger sister. Eleanor has an older sister, and a younger sister. We both get along with our siblings quite well. 

All of our family lives within driving distance of our home. We spend lots of time on the weekends with them, whether it is going out for lunch or dinner or going on family trips. Eleanor’s sister, and her family, as well as Mark’s Uncle and their family, live the closest. 

Our families are very big on celebrating the holidays. We spend Thanksgiving and Christmas with both families, taking turns hosting with our siblings and parents. We also spend Chinese New Year with Eleanor’s family. Regardless of the occasion, we simply enjoy spending time with the whole family and everyone is very excited about our decision to adopt.
