Meet Our Daughter

Meet Zelda! She’s our super fun, funny and spunky three-year-old. She is our biological daughter and the result of our extensive fertility treatments. 

Zelda is a very active little girl and we love watching her discover new talents! We play in the fenced backyard in her kiddie pool and on the splash pad and sometimes the neighbor kids come over to play with us. She has a play area in the basement with a bounce house, a climbing wall, a soccer goal and space to practice her balance bike for those colder days. We take nature walks, fly kites and go to the park where she loves to slide. She also loves to color, play LEGOS and do puzzles. Through the park district, she recently started gymnastics and soccer.

Zelda goes to Montessori school in the mornings and she loves it! She enjoys the structured play time and spending time with her classmates, but her very favorite activity is playing with our dog, Tonka. We recently adopted him from a local rescue and he’s amazing!

She’s a little too young to understand that we’d like to add to our family, but she’s wonderful with other children and she takes very good care of her babies and stuffed animals. We think she will make an awesome big sister.
