We are very fortunate because we have two families.
We have our Illinois family and our Indiana family. Our weekends in Illinois are filled with family gatherings and get-togethers with friends. Occasionally we will meet up with our friends and leave Jayce with our parents. Naturally our parents love this, and enjoy spending time with their grandson. It is always a special time for them as they cherish their time together.
Not only do we travel to Illinois to see our families, but they travel to Indiana to see us too. When we’re all together we love to visit, enjoy meals, and make memories. Christmas is always a big deal for both families. The holiday is always filled with tons of food, laughter, presents, and love.
Everyone is very excited about our decision to adopt again, and cannot wait to meet the newest member of our family. We have no doubt that this child will be spoiled rotten by grandparents, aunts, and uncles, just like Jayce is!
In addition to our immediate family’s support we also have our Indiana family, which consists of our friends and work colleagues. They are an amazing support system, and we don’t know what we’d do without them. They have stood by our side through the good and bad times.
