Our Family

Our family could not be more excited for us to become parents. We were both lucky enough to grow up in close-knit families with the frequent presence of our cousins, grandparents, aunts, and uncles. Tyler is especially close with his cousin, who was adopted from Paraguay. They have been best friends since they were kids, and their relationship has made adopting a child that more important to him. The child we welcome into our home will have grandparents, aunts, and uncles who will be a constant source of love and support. We have loved being uncles to our nieces and nephews, and they are excited for a new cousin to play with.

We especially love spending the holidays with our families. We make it a point to see both sides of our family for each holiday. This is not too difficult given that Steve’s family is here in Pittsburgh and Tyler’s family is just two hours away in Erie. We look forward to sharing our holiday traditions like cutting down a Christmas tree, carving a jack-o-lantern, or coloring Easter eggs for the first time with a little one.
