Our Hobbies, Interests and Traditions

Throughout the year, our home is filled with music, dancing, silliness, and laughter. We love spending time with one another, having movie nights, family game night or even curling up on the couch reading a good book with the kids. 

As a family, we come together all through the seasons and have many traditions. 

In the fall, we love going to apple orchards, playing in the leaves, watching *sort of* scary movies, and hunting on our property. 

When winter comes, we love to spend our time celebrating Christmas, sledding and going ice fishing with “Team Fish Fry.” After a long day in the cold, we like to come in for a warm cup of cocoa and a good Christmas movie. 

Spring at our home brings new wildlife, flowers, leaves on the trees and Greg starting our garden. We spend a lot of the spring at Ellareigh’s dance competitions, cheering her on! We like to take small getaways as a family and love going to indoor waterparks. 

Once summer arrives, we are usually MORE than ready for warmer temperatures! Summer is spent outside swimming, gardening, jumping on the trampoline and soaking up the sunshine! We love going camping with our extended family in the Thumb (of Michigan) and spending time with Greg’s family on the west side of the state as well. A perfect summer night for us includes riding bikes, going to the beach and s’mores around the campfire. 

The entire year brings different hobbies, traditions, and interests, and we cannot wait to share all these wonderful times with a new baby.
