Our Home

We have a lovely home that is perfect for starting our family! We take much pride in our home. 

Since it was built in 1925, there have been a number of updates over the years – many of which we’ve had the opportunity to do ourselves. Since we moved here in 2017, we renovated our kitchen and bathroom along with smaller DIY projects. We also installed a fence around our yard, so that will be a perfect outdoor space to play around.

We spend a lot of time in our kitchen. We both love to cook, which means that a child will have no shortage of home cooked meals! Aside from the kitchen, we also spend time in our garden. We really enjoy planting and growing things that will contribute to our latest culinary creation.

One of the many things that drew us to our neighborhood was the close proximity to local shops, restaurants, good schools, parks, and the local farmer’s market (all within walking distance). Each week we walk our dog to the farmer’s market to buy fresh fruits and veggies. Although our community has a small-town vibe, we have the benefit of being easily accessible to the Baltimore-Washington metro area and take advantage of the endless parks, museums, festivals, and sporting events happening in the region.
