Our Home

Our home is located on a cul-de-sac in a mature neighborhood near the outskirts of Indianapolis. This location has been fantastic as it is truly symbolic of our personalities: close enough to downtown for a Pacers game, but far enough away to enjoy the peace and quiet on a summer night around the fire pit.

When we toured our home for the first time, we both instantly knew this is where we would raise a family. It didn’t take long for us to start putting the picture together: forts and slumber parties in the basement; family breakfasts in our pjs at the kitchen island; which room would be the best for a kiddo vs. guest room or office; and finally a backyard awaiting the ultimate swing set. As an added bonus, we have family in the neighborhood next to us which leads to easy walks or bike rides for Sunday dinner.

Although we just bought a house initially, we have spent the past few years turning that house into a home and more specifically, a home that we can’t wait to share with a child. Looking back at our own upbringings, we both realized that a house and it’s amenities are great but what truly brought back great childhood memories was the fun we had with our families, friends and loved ones that made each of those places home.
