Our Home

We live in a beautiful bungalow in upstate New York, which we bought in 2017. It was built in the 1930s, but was completely remodeled by the time we moved in. Albert loves spending time in his arts and crafts room, working on his impressive Halloween miniature village. Andrew loves spending time in the living room, playing with our two dogs, Chancey and Ruger. As of lately, the both of us are totally loving spending time decorating the nursery. If we are not in the house, then we can often be found outside gardening in the backyard.

Our neighborhood is very family-friendly. There is a park and tennis courts right down the street from us. We are lucky to live on a street that is full of so many different cultures; it offers a lot of opportunity to teach a child about diversity. All of our neighbors are also very friendly. We are often all in our backyards, grilling and chatting. We also recently attended our neighbor’s wedding, which was a beautiful ceremony. Even in winter, all of the neighbors pull together to help out with snow blowing or shoveling each other’s driveways, or sometimes digging out the occasional car.
