Our Story

Hello, we are Ryan and Ben! Thank you for choosing to hear our story and learn more about us as prospective parents.

Our story began in 2012 when we both started online dating. Once we connected online, we messaged each other for a month or so, sharing common interests and hopes, before we eventually met for our first date at a local Irish pub. This was the first of many meals that would lead us on a journey neither of us could have imagined. We made an instant connection and quickly grew our relationship from there. Since then, we’ve traveled to over 20 states, adopted our dog, and bought our first house together.

On Christmas evening 2016, Ben proposed to Ryan with “one more Christmas present.” One thing to understand about Ben is that he always said he would never plan an anniversary on the same day as a holiday; so the last thing Ryan was expecting was an engagement – quite the clever ruse. The gift…two engagement rings and a complete surprise to Ryan. Of course, Ryan said yes! Just over two years later, we married and celebrated with family and friends.

Building a family has always been very important to both of us, and something we’ve been working toward together. We are very excited to welcome, care for, and share our lives and home with beautiful children.
