Our Story

Will and Mallie here. Thanks for taking the time to read about us. We hope that reading about our story gives you a good window into our life. We pray that God is with you as you read about us and other families. 

We met in college. During our time there, we were both involved in a Christian ministry serving high school kids. Will was the funny, well-known guy, while Mallie was the more reserved girl, often off to the side. One day, Will and some friends decided to take out some ladies, so they drew names out of a hat to pick who they would take. (Yeah, it’s funny!) Will picked Mallie’s name and the rest is history. 

After a summer away from one another, it became clear that we didn’t just enjoy each other, but wanted a future committed to each other. A future that would be full of laughs, kids, and community. A future that would be centered on God and the joy that we found in our faith joining. We dated for a year and a half and were married in April of 2012.

We have both always desired to adopt. Mallie had it on her heart before we even met! Will is an adoptee himself, and has always hoped it would not just be a part of his story as a son, but also as a father. We already have three kids and our desire to adopt has not waned, but strengthened over time. We are expectant and excited about what God has next for our family through adoption.
