The Big Sisters

Bernadette (Bernie) and Annie! Oh, how we adore our girls! 

Bernie (5) wakes up happy every morning, curious what the big world has in store for her. She’s a funny one – she wiped all of Jamie’s kisses off her face the other day and then quickly told her she was going to put them in her heart to keep them forever. She loves to do art projects and loves spending every waking minute with her friends. She likes to run, scooter around our block, and this summer she learned how to swim without any floaties on! Big deal! 

Our sweet Annie (4) has the tenderest of hearts and is always looking for how she can help. She’s also very adventurous! She’ll climb a tree or to the top of a jungle gym, and by the end of this summer, she’s trying to learn how to ride a bike without training wheels. She also loves to play dress-up and try on mama’s makeup. She’s generous with hugs and kisses and is loved by all.

We talk to Bernie and Annie frequently about how life would change with a new baby. They love discussing who would get to do certain things, like sing songs and help rock the baby. They’re so excited to love on a baby, as are we!
