This is a song I love because of the truth is speaks of. The part where it says “If you’ve been hearing the same old voice tell the same old lies,” speaks to directly to me because I can catch myself listening to certain people around me that are always discouraging. Recently I have tried to reach out to certain people who can be like that and directly asked them not to be negative or judgmental when they are around me. I’m still waiting for their reaction but I feel better speaking up for what I want from that relationship.
