GETTING OUTSIDE

This past Saturday was a fun day out of the house. Farris and I decided to take a drive to downtown Salt Lake City and take a short hike up Ensign Peak trail. Once we arrived at the peak we could see the entire Salt Lake City valley just by turning our necks. I decided to bring my very nice camera to take a few photos. In the past I’ve really only used this camera when we’ve taken big trips. This year I want to continue learning how to use it. Anyway, it was great hike and we got some great pictures. Afterwards we decided to grab dinner downtown at a place called “From Scratch”. Their burger and sweet potato fries were to die for. All in all, it was a fantastic date day/night.
