Love and Snow

Last week was a really good week. For starters, our profile went live and we are finally on our journey to baby. It also started with Valentines day. Even though Jason had to work we still tried to find a way to celebrate. The morning started with making heart shaped strawberry chocolate chip pancakes and even though we said no gifts, Jason still surprised me with roses. Since Jason had to work we ended up going to dinner Monday evening to one of favorite places, Texas Roadhouse. Then the snow came. We ended up getting roughly eight inches of snow overnight. It’s times like these that I am thankful that I am working from home so I don’t have to venture out if I don’t have to and luckily Jason was off too.  I don’t think when he took the time off that he envisioned that he would have spent it fixing the garage door and snow plowing the driveway. 🙂 I love the time that we get to spend together so it was nice having him home with me all day, even though I was still working.  The week ended with a facetime call with our little neices and nephew. We are so thankful for technology, especially in this covid era, as it allows us to still see and interact with them. They are growing so much and we can’t wait til we can see them in person again.
