About Sarah

My first word was “book,” so I guess you could say books and I were always destined to be together. As a kid, they were my favorite thing in the whole world. Growing up, my mother helped me learn to read using Dr. Seuss books, and my dad would always read me the Narnia books at bedtime.

It’s probably no surprise that I ended up getting both my undergraduate and graduate degrees in English. I run an editing company that edits books by people from all over the world. It’s so fun to help people share their voice and imagination with others.

As a parent, I want to share my love of books with my child by reading to them, and I hope to write books for them. Whether through coloring, dancing at a concert, watching movies, or singing along to ‘80s songs, I can’t wait to help my child tap into their creativity and imagination. One of my creative outlets is wandering art galleries and making up stories about the paintings, and I would love to imagine the life story of the Mona Lisa with my child.

When I’m not wandering inside museums, I’m outside taking photographs of animals in the zoo or flying kites. I can’t wait to watch our family’s cartoon-covered kites dance in the breeze at a local park or on a sandy beach.
