OUR HOME AND COMMUNITY

Our home has everything we need, from a big yard and garden to a great kitchen and plenty of space for Kami and the kids to dance around and play. Our big toy and sensory room includes swings, a slide, a climbing wall and more. We enjoy Allan’s workshop in the garage and our homeschool room where we love to learn together as a family. It is the perfect home to grow our family in. 

There are many other adoptive families in our neighborhood who we love getting together with and the neighborhood children frequent our home after school. Any visitor to our home is considered to be part of the family. If you come in the evening, be ready for one of Kami’s home-cooked meals followed by family prayer and scripture time. Saturday morning visitors may get put to work on one of Allan’s house projects, while Sunday night guests get to play whatever game Little A starts up (hide and go seek is a favorite!) 

We love our small, rural town in the mountains of Utah. We enjoy hiking and building campfires in the mountains that surround our town and love going to all the town events throughout the year. Located just 20 minutes outside of a city, our town is the perfect spot and provides the quiet living we love, with access to great amenities for our children. In addition to our city community, we enjoy a wonderful homeschool community. We get together weekly for field trips and other activities. It’s a welcoming environment where differences are celebrated, and where we have truly felt at home.
