Despite our many travels abroad, day-to-day with us is simple and sweet. We love a good coffee in the morning, and we both work from home very easily. We try to cook at home most of the week, and we reserve dining out, or take-out these days, for the weekends. Tom is the master Italian chef, but Karen whips up a great fish or buffalo chicken crockpot. The crockpot, we have discovered, is the secret to a really great and easy meal!
Tom is often heading out for a run in the afternoon, and Karen will roll out her yoga mat here in the apartment. Evenings are filled with TV time (a lot of Dancing With The Stars) and binge-watching our other favorite shows on Hulu or Netflix. Karen usually has a crochet hook in her hand the entire night.
We love living in New York City since there are so many different types of people. We love our local stores and delis. One has a cat, and the other is owned by the sweetest Korean couple, so the Korean food is top notch. We know that as our family grows, it will be important to seek out better schools, and a yard, among other things. Social diversity, however, will always remain important to us.
