Hanging Out At Home

Despite our many travels abroad, day-to-day life with us is simple and sweet. We love a good coffee in the morning, and we both work from home very easily. Weekends don’t have to be busy to be fun, and we love a relaxing weekend at home. Tom’s dad made us a nifty game machine, so we have access to tons of fun video games at home, too.

When Tom heads out for a run in the afternoon, Karen will roll out her yoga mat or microformer here in the apartment. Once the evening rolls around, we can probably be found reading, tuning into a movie (currently the Harry Potter series), or binge-watching our favorite shows on Netflix. Karen usually has a crochet hook in her hand the entire night.

We love living in New York City. There are so many different types of people and things to do. We are especially fond of our local stores and delis. Our favorite one has a friendly cat, and the other is owned by the sweetest Korean couple (their Korean food is top notch!). As our family grows, it will be important to seek out great schools and a yard, among other things. Diversity will always remain important to us wherever we land.
