Hobbies, Interests and Traditions

Each season brings new traditions that we love to pass down through generations. We cannot wait to share these special moments with a child.

Spring: We spend a lot of time at the baseball field in the spring; Mike is the assistant baseball coach for our local high school’s team! Eli enjoys going on to the field with Daddy after the game and hanging out with the boys.

Summer: The highlight of our summer is the pool! Saturdays are spent at our best friends’ pool while Sunday is spent at Jill’s parents’ pool. Our friends have three children and Eli and Anna love to spend time with them. Summer nights are typically spent grilling out and soaking up as much sunshine as we can! 

Fall: We spend a lot of time playing outside in the fall when the weather is nice. Our beautiful yard is the perfect place to play. We also have a family hayride every year. We look forward to our family hayride! And how can we forget football season? We love lazy Sunday afternoons full of naps, soups, and cheering on the Colts! 

Winter: We love Christmas time! Our Great Aunt already has a stocking made for the new baby! Over the holidays, we spend time with family, do lots of baking, and go see Santa any chance we get! 

In addition to our “seasonal traditions”, we love to travel! Jill’s family spends every other summer on the beach. The kids love the beach and ask all the time when it’s time to go on vacation again. We cannot wait to introduce this new child to our love of travel!
