About Them (pt 2)

We chose open adoption so that our children’s entire family might always have a place in their life. Their birth parents, siblings, and their extended families have become important members of our family. Even though we live in different cities and states, we communicate often via FaceTime, text, and social media. We also visit in person at least once a year.

We understand that every adoption experience is different, and we are open to having as much or as little communication as you would like. We also understand that things evolve, and the amount of contact you’re comfortable with may change over time. We just want you to know that you will always have a place in our family!
