Meet Jeff

Writing about yourself is always a difficult task, but here it goes…. people would describe me as hardworking, funny, and laid back. I am an avid outdoors lover. Anything from hunting, fishing, backpacking, running, whitewater rafting, snowboarding, camping, working cattle, training our dogs, and mountain biking. Do you see a pattern? I enjoy a good adventure. I also enjoy playing my guitar and reading. Those are things that help bring me back to center. I’m also a “work with my hands” kind of guy. I enjoy woodworking projects when there is time. I would love to be able to share my adventures and knowledge that have been handed down to me with a son or daughter!

Family and faith are very important aspects of my life. As we get older, I think those things become an even greater presence in our lives. I come from a rather large extended family, so weddings and reunions are quite celebrated events. I try to hold on to traditions because traditions build memories. Holidays are met with full force around our house. My wife is the queen of decorating and anyone that enters our home feels welcome. 

Education is extremely important to me too. After high school, I attended college for a year and decided it was not for me at that time. In 2016, I decided to go back to college to finish my degree. Wow, things were different after a 20-year break! After graduation, I decided to continue my education. I am currently working on my master’s degree and am expected to graduate in 2022.
