Our Family

Hawa comes from a large family. She has eight siblings, loving and devoted parents, and more extended family than one can imagine. Alex’s family is much smaller. He has one sister, his two parents, and some extended family. As almost everyone lives in Ohio, we always have someone visiting us in NYC, which is a lot of fun. Of course, once we have a child, the visits will increase from our parents as they’re ready to be grandparents!

We visit Ohio several times each year. We always come back to be with our loved ones for the holidays and birthdays, or just because we miss our family. We’re a tight-knit group and everyone has been anxiously awaiting for us to start our own family. Once we adopt, there will be no shortness of love and advice to go around. Everyone is counting down the days.
