Our Family

Nicole’s family is all located here in New York, while Jason’s family is spread out across three different states: Texas, Oklahoma, and Arkansas. We have shared our dream of becoming parents with each one and they are all extremely excited for us. We are so lucky to have such a great support system for us to welcome a new child into our lives. 

Our parents cannot wait for us to adopt. For Nicole’s parents, this will be their first grandchild. So, they are very happy to finally be grandparents. Nicole’s brother and sister-in-law are also excited and cannot wait to be an uncle and aunt. Jason’s family is mainly in the south, but they too are looking forward to us bringing a little one home. 

It should also be clearly stated that we both believe family is not limited to something you are born into. It is a larger picture of friends that have been an integral part of who we are. We were fortunate to be married by two extended members of our family. Both are ministers, who Nicole has known most of her life.

The entire family has been a huge support to us emotionally. We could not have done this without all of them.
