Our Family and Friends

Family is the MOST important thing to us. We both have small but close and loving families. We are lucky to have Katherine’s parents and sister in the same city and John’s father and brother a few towns over. They are all very excited for their first grandchild/niece or nephew and can’t wait to spoil them! John’s mother passed away in early 2020, and we know she is smiling down on us every day.

Every Sunday, we have family dinner with Katherine’s family, where we gather around the dining room table and catch up on the prior week. We can’t wait to make a spot for the child we are blessed with to join us at the table for smiles, laughs and lots of love.

We are also blessed to have a small group of friends that have become more like family over the years. Any child who joins our family is destined to have many “aunties” and “uncles” in our friend group that are ready to spoil them rotten! We enjoy spending time with our friends, whether it’s a game night, going to a movie, meeting up to enjoy dinner, or escape for a weekend away. Even though our busy lives may get in the way of seeing each other as often as we would like, we are always connecting online or by phone. Many of our friends have families of their own and we can’t wait for a child to be great friends with their children!
