Our Home

We live in Washington, DC, on a quiet, tree-lined street of charming row homes and brick sidewalks. We’re right in the city and we can walk to a ton of restaurants, the grocery store, and even the movies. At the same time, our neighborhood still feels small and things like block parties and Halloween trick-or-treating are really big deals. While we’ve got a big deck that we hang out on all the time, our yard is tiny and full of rose bushes… so we’re really grateful that we’re right around the corner from a cute park.

While we love our house in DC, and it’s definitely nice and big enough for our family, we’ re really fortunate to also have a big, beautiful vacation home on a lake about an hour-and-a-half outside the city! From summer BBQs by the water to Thanksgivings spent sitting around one big table, we love being able to host our crazy families here. The house sits right on the water, and there’s even a huge yard for sports, but we tend to spend most of the day swimming, kayaking, or just relaxing on our beach. At night, we then play board games and gather on the screen porch, where we’ve got a big fireplace and really comfy couches.

Whether we’re in DC or down at the lake, we’ve built a safe, comfortable, and loving home life that we cannot wait to share with a child.
