Our Story
Hello! We are Jordan and Kali. Thank you for taking time to learn more about our family. We truly appreciate your consideration of us as potential adoptive parents.
Our story starts back in the seventh grade when our elementary schools combined into one high school. We became close friends in 10th grade and remained close while we attended college near each other. After college graduation, Jordan started working in Madison, WI, while Kali attended graduate school in Minneapolis, MN. We had lived less than 30 minutes from each other our whole lives, and when we lived four hours away from each other, we decided that was the time to start dating! After four years of dating, we were both ready to move back to our hometown. We got married in 2014 and started our lives together back where we were raised.
We both always knew we wanted children. Shortly after deciding to add to our family, we learned we were unable to have biological children. Adoption was already part of our extended family, and we knew this was how we wanted to grow our family. We adopted our daughter, Elyse, in 2018, and she has added so much joy to our lives. We both have three siblings and would love for our daughter to have a sibling to grow up with. We are excited to begin this next chapter in our family story and cannot wait to open our hearts to another child through adoption.
