Our Traditions

We have spent the last sixteen years loving one another while continuing and creating new traditions. Here are some of our favorites, which we can’t wait to share with a child!

The Indy 500: Spring in Indy means racing! We love to attend race festivities the entire month of May. Usually we will pack up for the entire day and spend it at the track with family and friends.

The Outdoors: Summer means camping, boating and swimming. We love spending time with family and friends at Turkey Run, Lake Monroe, or at a friend’s pool. Being outside is something we really love. It’s the fresh air and sunshine that resets our souls.

Football: Fall means football! We love to go to local HS football games or to make big spreads of food after church to enjoy while watching the Colts!

Time on the Patio: Fall also means weenie roasts and bonfires. Our patio has a nice big fire pit that we can all gather around.

Winter Fun: We love to take time off work in winter, welcome out of town family for the holidays, and go out with hot chocolate and look at Christmas lights. We also like to take nieces and nephews sledding, baking Christmas cookies and watching holiday movies.

Christmas Day: This is our biggest family gathering of the year. We all make an entire day out of it with grandparents, aunts, uncles, siblings, and cousins. We spend the morning having breakfast and the rest of the day exchanging a gift, laughing, and sharing previous holiday memories together.
