About Rachel (written by Stephen)

Rachel is a strong and loving person. She is direct about the things she wants and works hard to achieve her goals. She has a strong sense of right and wrong and a willingness to take a stand to make sure that people are always treated with respect.  When someone needs help, Rachel is the first person to lend a hand.

She put her career on hold to get two Master’s Degrees from the University of Buffalo and now works as the Sexual Violence Prevention Program Coordinator within the Department of Health. In her free time, you can find Rachel knitting and crocheting stuffed animals and blankets for our nieces and nephews and trying to get our cats and dog to snuggle her while she’s on the couch. Sometimes she gets all three to join her! When she’s not snuggled into the couch with our creatures, she’s hiking or working on the house.

Rachel will be a great mother. She’s always up for an adventure, even when that adventure means hard work. She’s kind, sweet and loving and I know that a new family member will be safe and happy with her as a mom.
