Why Adoption

Both of us love kids and have always wanted to be parents. Adopting a newborn girl in 2018 was life changing for us. Now that two years have passed, we feel the time is right to bring a second child into our family. We can’t wait to share our love with another baby, to introduce them to our family traditions, and to encourage them to pursue their dreams. We feel very strongly that adoption is the right path for us, and no matter what the child’s background, we are committed to exposing them to their cultural heritage. We are fortunate to live in a very diverse part of the country where that is possible. In addition, we recognize the importance of an open adoption. We want our child to know where they come from and to have a connection to their roots. After adopting Eliana, we have maintained an open relationship with her birth mother. Should you chose us as adoptive parents, we would welcome the same open relationship with you. We look forward to sharing visits, letters, and pictures with you through the years. We all have an important role to play in the child’s life, and we look forward to sharing this journey together.
